The final results of the exam for practicing dentistry in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, showed excellence and superiority of the graduates of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab American University, where the students applying for the exam had achieved a success rate that reached to 95%

Saleh Sharqawi, one of the students who succeeded the examination said: “The total university graduates who applied for the exam for practicing dentistry totaled to 51 students and 48 of them managed to pass it."
He added that these excellent results did not surprise the applying students since they have the scientific and academic significant level, and had practical training on whatever is new in the science of dentistry in addition to the overall provision of modern clinics and sophisticated devices during the years of the study.
On behalf of her colleagues and herself, student Du’aa Eghbariya expressed her gratitude to the university administration, and presented this success to the Faculty of Dentistry and its academic members. She confirmed that they are proud to belong to the Arab American University, and that they always will present good expectations, and wherever they operate, they will be ambassadors for the dental profession and Palestine and the university.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Dr. Maher Al-Jarbawi congratulated the students who passed the exam for practicing the profession. He explained that this achievement is a new testimony that confirms the excellence of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Arab American University with its students, academic programs, its quality laboratories, its faculty members and its technical and administrative employees. He stressed that the faculty offers quality programs of higher specialization in the various branches of dentistry, and that its excellence is the result of great scientific and academic efforts that are offered, and due to the proper and continuous planning, the adoption of advanced educational curriculum, building international and regional partnerships, and providing outstanding practical training.
He indicated that the Faculty of Dentistry at the university includes a distinct educational and training center that contains dental clinics equipped with the best specifications and international brands in Dentistry Science. He also pointed out that dentistry graduates at the Arab American University are distinguished since they deal during the period of study with a customized program that allows them to examine and treat conditions for school students and the various segments of the local community, which would strengthen their capacity and qualifications to join the labor market.
