Mathematics and Statistics / Minor Computer Science


      The department offers a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and Statistics. The program equips students with solid background in disciplines, mathematics and statistics. In addition, top applicants can benefit from one of the competitive scholarships offered by the University to those who are intended to major in one of the science fields.

      The department has state-of-the-art labs where mathematical and statistical software is available, in addition to several programming languages. One of our labs is totally reserved for graduate students. The student is expected to obtain a bachelor degree after completing 132 credit hours.


Our graduates are expected to be capable of working at the following job positions:

• governmental and non–governmental statistics agencies

• Research and consulting firms
