Arab American University Chairman of Board of Directors Dr. Yousef Asfour visits the university to check its academic and research achievements, international partnerships and its ongoing developmental projects.

Dr. Asfour was welcomed by University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, Directors Board Member Mr. Ghaleb Al-Hafi, the shareholder Dr. Raed Dalbah, University President Administrative and Financial Affairs Assistant Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, Assistant to the Dean of Admission and Registration Eng. Bara Asfour and Professor Fathi Amour.
During his visit, Dr. Asfour listened to a detailed explanation of the University's academic achievements, plans to develop range of majors for bachelor and master level, mechanisms of academic development to keep with what’s new, promote scientific research and build international scientific partnerships. Also he checked the work progress in multi-usages gym hall and its interior such hanging panels, electronic screens and various devices that serve all sport. He got briefed on the progress of rehabilitation the main university cafeteria and students barking lots.
“Whenever I have the opportunity to visit the university, I am surprised with its new achievements and successes. Bless the tremendous efforts made every day for the university progress. We appreciate the minds that are keen to think how this university can grow and became international. Adding, our ambition is to continue the journey, to make Arab American University a distinguished academic and scientific institute and a global research center by all standards because we carry an advanced education message and we’re trustees for our Palestinian students’ future. We will continue investing in Palestinian people to harness their enormous human potential to build, and graduate qualified students, we are proud of and they’re able to build bright future one generation after another”, said Dr. Asfour.
He thanked the University family saying “In my name and the name of the University Directors Board, I would like to thank faculty and administrators members whom without we wouldn’t have reached such a distinguished level”. Stressing, the University's Board of Directors believes in national capabilities to enhance Palestine status among scientifically advanced countries, and will remain supportive to all possibilities. He praised the workers on their dedication to work, calling for more excellence, which was and still the Arab American University logo.
