Deputy of the Joint Arab List Yousef Jabareen visited Arab American University to check its academic accomplishments and meet the 1948 Palestinian lands enrolled students. University President Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, Vice President for Training Affairs Dr. Nizam Diab and Head of Public Relations Office Mr. Fathi Imour all welcomed him.

During the reception Dr. Abu Zuhri welcomed Deputy Jabareen, complemented his efforts and support for the educational process on all levels and gave him detailed explanation on university’s achievements both academically and research, University’s international relationships, global scientific partnerships, infrastructure projects and plans to continue its excellence journey initiated 17 years ago. He said "Arab American University is a well-known Palestinian excellence model, as it shows Palestinians’ excellence ability in higher education with the generous support of the university board of directors who provided the requirements to build cultured, educated generation”.
He stressed that students concerns are the university’s top priorities, on daily bases its staff’s works hard to overcome them and it won’t stop solving any problem, difficulties facing their student to pursue their education.
Deputy Jabareen said “The University managed to turn the communication between people into distinguished educational process for all Palestinians, a Palestinian dream that came true to create distinctive patriot, conscious and educated generation”.
He added “Each day we come to the university to contact both its administration and students. This is our vision, our goal. We are proud of our Arab American University which provided to its students specializations needed by the market and university life with a national Palestinian identity”.
Deputy Jabareen took a tour in the campus to see its faculties, training centers and multi uses gym that will be opened soon. He complemented AAU’s academic, research and infra structure development.
