Arab American University in cooperation with Amideast Organization organized session on Fulbright Scholarship presented by the organization and it lasts for two years from 2018 till 2020. In presence of Vice President for Planning and Development Affairs Dr. Osama Salameh, Amideast Scholarship Program Officer Arwa Jaber and her assistant Hiba Hamoury.

The session aims to introduce students to the scholarship requirements, recognition standards and applying mechanism to the scholarship targeting graduates, upcoming grads, research and teaching assistants and lab technicians at the university.
Amideast Scholarship Program Officer Arwa Jaber pointed, the scholarship is fully funded by the Department of State in cooperation with American Consulate in Jerusalem and executed by Amideast. It is a full scholarship, provides students a monthly stipend, and covers travelling costs to and from the United States of America in addition to book purchase allowance.
She explained, this scholarship aims to give “foreign” student a master degree, create relations between the American people and other peoples and exchange cultures. Indicating, selecting the scholarship winners will be after conducting interviews and entrance examinations. She also addressed the scholarship eligibility qualifications, required documents, accepting mechanism, registration and travel to the United States of America procedures.
