The University Presidents Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri and his Advisor for Universities Classification Dr. Moath Sabha represented the university in the third Turkish-Arab Conference on Higher Education, which was hosted by the Istanbul Aydin University in Istanbul on 13-15 February

70 Arab universities from various Arab countries and several Turkish universities, interested in building effective partnerships with Arab universities, attended the meeting. Several topics were discussed such as providing joint projects for students and university faculty members exchange through the Turkish Mavlana and the European Erasmus Plus projects. Along with discussing the joint international academic programs projects in university education, university governance and leadership, joint scientific research, the higher education quality, universities accreditation, academic programs and other matters of interest to the higher education sector at Arab countries and Turkey.
Prof. Dr. Abu Zuhri also reviewed the cooperation between the university and non-Arab universities, especially that the courses in most of the university faculties are taught in English and follows international standards, making it easier for university students to take courses in universities with their courses in English or for non-Arabic speaker students to visit the university and take courses that will be calculated in their universities, especially in postgraduate and medical departments.
The university also participated in the Euro-Asian Higher Education Summit 2018, in the universities exhibition and provided the visitors with publications about the university and its postgraduate departments. The team visited the participating universities' exhibitions and discussed ways of cooperation between both the university and the participating universities. After that they signed preliminary MoUs with some Turkish universities for the students, teachers and researchers exchange among universities.
