Vice-Chairman of the AAU Board of Directors Eng. Abdulhalim Mowaheed made an inspection visit to the university site in Ramallah and Jenin’s campus to check developmental projects, the university's academic and research achievements and international partnerships.
University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zedan Abu Zuhri, Academic Advisor for the Board of Directors and AAU founder president Prof. Dr. Waleed Deep, University President Assistant for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, Assistant to the Dean of Admission and Registration Eng. Bara Asfour and Director of the university’s site in Ramallah Mr. Mohammad Saba’neh, all welcomed Eng. Mowahed.
During the visit, Eng. Mowahed listened to a detailed explanation on the University's academic, bachelor's and master's degrees programs and majors’ development plans, scientific research and new international partnerships. He also visited the university new site in Ramallah and checked its programs, library, lectures halls and computer labs.
At Jenin’s main campus, Eng. Mowahed took a tour, visiting the Faculties of Dentistry and Nursing, checking its clinics and labs especially the simulation lab for training nursing students. Also he visited the university’s international football stadium and multi usages sports hall during hosting the Palestinian universities Athletics and Volleyball Championship.
Eng. Mowahed expressed his happiness with the university’s achievements, thanking its administration, workers and students. Stressing, on daily basis he witness this scientific edifice achievements by meeting its graduates who works in many companies in developed countries and the local and international market testifies their efficiency and excellence.
“Arab American University a model university carries modern and advanced science for Palestinian students. We in the Board of Directors continue to support the university with all the resources it needs. Our ambition is to continue the journey, to make the university global scientific edifice and research center by all standards, we invests in Palestine’s great human resources, which we believe is capable of building and graduate young educated generations we’re proud of.”, He said.
