Graduation

During the closing ceremony, the director of the Hassib Sabbagh IT Center at the University, Ms. Mays Awwad, graduated the participants and handed over certificates to them. The 5-day training program dealt with creating new job opportunities for graduates and promoting economic empowerment by strengthening support for Palestinian startups and entrepreneurs as well as encouraging innovation through integration between the academic and private sectors and business incubators, and developing graduates’ skills to be productive entrepreneurs.

The course included many topics, such as addiction, family protection and cybercrimes as well as educating young people and university students on the dangers of addiction that lead young people's lives to collapse in addition to destroying moral, social and patriotic values.

In conclusion, the university praises the role played by the Police Directorate in its various departments for the success of this course, and for its benefits in spreading awareness among the youth in the Palestinian society.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Muayad Abusaa- the VP for Academic Affairs representing Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- the University President, Colonel Iyad Bazzari- representing General Major Nidal Abu Dokhan- the Chief of the National Security, Dr. Musadaq Barahmeh- the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Mr. Fadi Jumaa- the Public Relations Department Manager.
