Part of the Meeting

The University hosted a meeting with the General Association of Palestinian Books & Writers to activate the association to be a forum that embraces and supports innovators.

The President of Arab American University, Prof. Dr. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri welcomed the attendance and introduced them to the university and its facilities and achievements. The President of the Student Union Council Ali Kamil also emphasized the interest of the university and its students in hosting events that enhance the role of culture and arts in Palestine.

The Faculty of Arts at the Arab American University organized a literature meeting, in partnership with Youth Partnership Forum in Jenin, “Resistance Literature – Ghassan Kanafani as Example.”

In the presence of; head of the Arabic Language and Media Department at the University Dr. Mohammed Abu Al-Rob, lecturer at the Faculty of Arts Prof. Dr. Mohamed Dwabsha, lecturer at the Media department Mr. Saed Abu Mualla, representative of the Youth Partnership Forum Mustafa Shita, and a number of the university students.

The Arab American University hosted a literature session entitled “Resistance Poeticism In Tawfiq Ziad and Sameh Al-Qasim Writings” organized by the Culture Ministry, as a part of the 11th Palestine’s International Book Fair events.

The session, which was hosted by Chairman of the Arabic Language and Media Department at the Arab American University Dr. Mohammed Abu Al-Rob was attended by Arabic Language Lecturer at Arab American University Dr. Mahmoud Dawabsha, Acting Director of the Minister of Culture Office in Jenin Amal Ghazal, poet Naima Al-Ahmad, writer Dr. Nabeh Qasiem, writer Jamil Kettaneh, and the Iraqi poets Adnan Sayegh and Rushdi Khayoun, the members of the Ministry of Culture in Ramallah and Jenin, members of the academic and administrative bodies and university students.
