An AAUP Researcher at the Faculty of Graduate Studies Develops A Specialized Criminal Investigation System for Apple Watch

The researcher Mohammad Dawood, an M.A student in Cybercrimes and Digital Evidence Analysis program at the Arab American University in Ramallah, developed a specialized system in criminal investigation for Apple Watch by establishing a criminal digital investigation matrix.

The researcher Dawood explained that the system, which he developed, helps investigators deal with Apple Watch by collecting digital evidence quickly. This, according to the researcher, contributes to uncovering the details of crimes, and succeeds in producing reliable reports from the Watch before the legal authorities.

He added that the subject of his M.A thesis is novel as it provides an integrated matrix specialized in dealing with Apple Watch at crime scenes.

AAUP Hosts the Palestine Science and Technology Fair for Birzeit Schools

The Arab American University in Ramallah hosted the activities of the Palestine Science and Technology Fair, which was organized by the Directorate of Education of Birzeit Schools.

The Palestine Science and Technology Exhibition is a global exhibition supported by Intel. The competition initially takes place at the level of education directorates with engineering and research projects from school students in grades 9-11. It aims to develop thinking outside the box and develop creative skills. At the end, a number of projects are selected through arbitration by specialists, with the aim of representing the directorates in the local competition at the national level, and then at the global level.

AAUP Participates in the 27th Meeting of the Arab Council for Student’s Training and Innovation (ACSTI) in Egypt

Arab American University took part in the 27th meeting of the Arab Council for Student’s Training and Innovation (ACSTI) for students training mobility between Arab Universities that was hosted by Misr University for Science and Technology- Egypt.

Dr. Nizam Thiab represented the university in this meeting that was organized with the presence of presidents and representatives from 36 universities came from 12 Arab countries. The meeting was organized under the auspices of Dr. Omar Salameh- the Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities and Dr. Fawaz Zaghloul- the Director of the Arab Council for Student’s Training.
