Dr. Dalal Iriqat- the VP for International Relations Affairs emphasized on the importance of this joint collaboration, as the two institutions agreed on developing the academic mobility and exchange, focusing on joint collaboration in the scientific research field and collaborating on joint academic graduate and postgraduate programs, in addition to publishing scientific researches and organizing international conferences and workshops.

Dr. Yousef Asfour welcomed the delegation and talked about Arab American University, its academic programs, its achievements and its future projects and vision to advance higher education in Palestine. Dr. Asfour also explained how hard they worked and the efforts during the establishing period of AAUP and the mechanisms they use to develop the different academic programs. This agreement, that was signed after the accreditation of the “Statistics and Data Science” program from the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (AQAC), aims to enhance the collaboration and coordination relations between the university and the PCBS concerning the new joint BA program in “Statistics and Data Sciences” especially in combining the theoretical and academic aspect from AAUP with the practical aspect from the PCBS. This will help in training students of this program and preparing them to the labor market.
