Brigadier Azzam Jbara- the Police Chief of Jenin honoring Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- the university President with the police shield.

With the presence of some of the vice presidents and the Deans of the Faculties, Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- AAUP President welcomes Brigadier Azzam Jbara- the Police Chief of Jenin and the accompanied delegation.

Brigadier Jbara listened to a detailed explanation about the university, its infrastructure developments and its academic achievements which the latest was the BA in Medicine program, as those achievements have great positive effects on Jenin and on Palestine. Prof. Abu Zuhri also talked about the procedures for the academic year of 2020 / 2021 that will start next month and asserted on the importance of cooperating with the community institutions especially the police services to guarantee the success of this academic year.

AAUP and the Palestinian Police Sign a Cooperation Agreement in Several Fields

AAUP and the Palestinian Police signed a Cooperation Agreement in Several Fields, mainly in educational, training, awareness, knowledge and technological exchange.

AAUP President Prof. Ali Abu Zuhri and the Police GM Deputy General Jihad Masimi signed the agreement with the presence of AAUP assistants and representatives, along with the Police representatives.

AAUP graduated students from a training about “Road Traffic Safety”

The Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Bashar Daraghmeh and Jenin Police Director Colonel Nadi Halahleh graduated 30 students from a training course about road traffic safety, in cooperation with Jenin Police Directorate.

Dr. Daraghmeh welcomed the attendees and assured the importance of cooperation between the university and the police, pointing out that many workshops and training courses were held on many topics including road safety, cybercrime and drug control.

For his part, the Colonel Halahleh said that every citizen is required to act as a policeman. This is our message, stressing the importance of concerted efforts to reduce traffic accidents. He added that the police and the university are increasing awareness sessions.
