AAUP Organizes a Workshop for its Students Entitled “The most Effective Study Methods and How to Maintain Mental Health”

Arab American University has organized a workshop about “The most Effective Study Methods and How to Maintain Mental Health” aiming to enhance students’ knowledge and introduce them to the study methods and maintain them from the stress they might face while studying.

Dr. Fadi Siouri- the Head of the Chemistry Department in the Faculty of Sciences was hosted to talk about the modern study methods and he provided some tips and guidance to students. Also students Malik Toubjeh and Shaima Shaaban gave some advice to students on what is the best way to study and talked a little about their own experiments.

During the workshop, students were handed some papers with advice on the modern ways to study and how to maintain the mental health.

AAUP Honors two Employees and a Graduate who Resuscitate Cardiac Cases for People in an Accident

They got training in the Heart Center in AAUP

Arab American University honored two of its staff and one graduate who did a humanitarian action by saving lives of people who were in an accident as they resuscitate cardiac. The staff members and the graduate took intensive training in the Heart Center in AAUP and knew what to do when they were by chance in the same place where the accident was.

Prof. Mohammad Asia- the VP for Medical Schools Affairs attended the honoring along with Dr. Lubna Harazneh- the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Imad Khader- the Heart Center Manager in AAUP and Mr. Fadi Jumaa- the PR Manager, and the honoring was for Mr. Ayman Inaya and Mr. Farid Abulail- staff members in the Faculty of Nursing and trainers in the Heart Center in AAUP, and the graduate from the Faculty of Nursing, Ra’fat Sharab.

AAUP Participates in the Research Competition “Naher Haya” and Wins the Second Place

Arab American University participated in “Naher Haya” research contest with Reform Institution that all the Palestinian universities participated in as well. The aim of this project is to build students’ capabilities in research, depth analysis, developing knowledge and scientific skills and using scientific research tools.

AAUP won the second place between all other participated Palestinian universities in the research of student Asma Hussam Rabayaa entitled “Youth Refugees between Alienation and Community Participation” and the research of student Sadi Ajaj in his research “The role of the popular committees in promoting civil peace in light of the weak legal jurisdiction in the camps” under supervision of Dr. Layla Herzallah.
