The Chairman of board of Directors at Arab American University Dr. Yousef Asfour, and the President of the University Prof. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri welcomed the Mayor Dr. Ahmed Atash of Eschshahis Tebibashi Turkey and the Turkish delegation, where they were introduced to the university and discussed the prospects for future cooperation with educational institutions in the Turkish city.

With the attendance of the Academic Advisor Prof.  Walid Dieb, and members of the Board of Directors of the University, in addition to the Vice-Presidents, and the deans of the faculties.

Part of the Visit

A Delegation from the Council of Optometry Visits the University in Ramallah Campus to discuss methods of cooperation and developing optometry in Palestine.

The delegation was represented by Mr. Ashraf Al-Rimawi, memebers of the Board of Directors, Mr. Raed Al-Shala, and Mr. Najwa Al-Saadi, as well as members of the Scientific Committee of the Union Mr. Rami Danna, Mr. Yousuf Odeh, Mr. Jaafar Qaraish, Mr. Ibrahim Taha and Ms. Reem Shahin.

The representative of the Australian Consulate in Palestine, Marsha Pius, visited Arab American University in Ramallah Campus to discuss ways of cooperation with the university and its academic programs.

The Chairman of Boards of Directors Dr. Yousif Asfour, and Vice-President of International Relations at Dr. Dalal Erekat, and Board Member Mr. Bahaa Asfour welcomed the delegation and discussed with them the ways of academic cooperation in regarding student exchanges, exchange of faculty members and administration staff, as well as finding new academic programs that will enhance the change in the institutions of the Palestinian society through education, in alliance with the university’s vision to cooperate with international universities to create educational and research partnerships.
