Alumni Affairs Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs in cooperation with Arab Islamic Bank organized a training course entitled "Pioneers of Islamic Banking", that includes 36 training hours and 6 sessions. The course, which is attended by 35 trainees qualifies them to enter the labor market holding the experience, expertise and knowledge in Islamic banking.
The session was opened by the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Bashar Daraghmeh, he welcomed the Arab Islamic Bank as he assured the importance of taking advantage of these opportunities that empowers the graduates to enter the labor market. As Dr. Bashar Daraghmeh also thanked the Arab Islamic Bank administration explaining that this program aligns with the strategy of Alumni Affairs Department that aims to connect the academic outputs with the needs of the local and global labor market.
The HR and Training Manager Mr. Rateb Attiani from Arab Islamic Bank, said that this training course deepens the relationship between both the bank and AAUP, adding that this training is part of the banks social responsibility, where in each training sessions the trainees will be able to meet with the Bank's directors and specialists from different branches in the West Bank, as they will present the various services offered by the Bank.
As for the trainers Mr. Ahmed Abu Aisha Director at Arab Islamic Bank - Tulkarem Branch, assured that the training will be diversified and full of outstanding information that the students can benefit from, where he presented a training meeting entitled "the legal Islamic foundations for Islamic banking and basic deposits"
It is worth mentioning that the program includes six main training titles provided by a distinguished group of Arab Islamic Bank trainers to highlight the financial and administrative areas such as: the basic banking culture, how to be a successful bank employee, the principles of banking operations, the principles of facilities and Islamic finance, and Shari'a Islamic Banking, Core Deposits, Introduction to Bank Marketing.
