The Arab American University is seeking to hire a “female nurse” with a full-time temporary contract to work at the University clinic / Ramallah campus.
The nurse is expected to provide health care to patients in a professional and high-quality manner. She is also expected to be an active member of the medical team in the University clinic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving patients and opening medical files for each patient, including members of the academic and administrative staff as well as students.
- Providing first aid for emergency cases and evaluating patients’ health conditions based on priority.
- Providing health care to patients in a professional manner in line with the clinic physician’s instructions.
- Monitoring patients' conditions and accurately record medical data and vital signs.
- Implementing clinical procedures in accordance with medical standards and guidelines.
- Working to continuously develop skills and information.
- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of medical information and respecting patients’ privacy.
Qualifications and Skills Required for the Job:
- The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited university.
- The applicant must have at least two years of experience in working as a nurse in a hospital, health center or health unit.
- The applicant must have a professional practice certificate from the Ministry of Health.
