The Arab American University is seeking to hire a "dental assistant" with a full-time temporary contract at the Medical Center - University Campus / Ramallah.
The applicant is expected to assist dentists in educational clinics in terms of preparing clinics, delivering and preparing materials needed by faculty members and students, sterilization and helping students during practicum.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing the clinic to receive patients in the morning.
- Sterilization of the tools needed for examination.
- Assisting the dentist in doing what is necessary for patients.
- Helping students inside clinics by delivering materials and preparing the necessary tools.
- Receiving materials from warehouses and keeping them for use.
- Ensure the safety of clinic chairs.
- Ensuring the application of the infection prevention policy and monitoring students during their work in clinics.
Skills and Qualifications Required for the Job:
- The applicant must have a bachelor's degree or diploma in nursing from a recognized university or college.
- The applicant must have an experience of no less than two years in the specialization.
- The applicant must have a Palestinian professional practice license.
- The applicant must be a resident of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, or willing to live there.
