Applicants undertook the acceptance exam at AAUJ

The Arab American University made the students who applied for the sports science specialty to undergo the acceptance exam, where they were examined their fitness and their physical effort at the new international court that the University has build recently. This was after asserting their medical health when they took different medical tests.
The University has recently opened the Sport Science specialty and will start teaching it at the beginning of the academic year 2014/2015
Dr. Maén Zakarneh, the Arab American University’s student affair’s dean said: “the applicants are 30 students who finished the Tawjihi successfully, who took physical tests, physical efforts and medical tests. Those tests were under the supervision and the participation of Dr. Saba’ Jarrar and the head of the Athletic activities Mr. O’day Daraghmeh and the head of the health science department at the University Dr. Imad AbuRub, with the presentation of many representatives of the country’s clubs. He also mentioned that they will announce the names of the accepted students.”

He added that many students applied for this specialty and they did well in the tests and that the facilities and the staff of this specialty are great and depending on international standards. The department is consisted of four academics who have PHD degrees and they will be helped by some outside teachers holding master degrees, and the teaching will be at the international stadium, the gym and the penta stadium.

The University decided earlier that they will make a rebate on two of the specialties including the sports sciences, and the credit hour will be 25 JD for any student who register at the first semester of the academic year 2014/2015 and for the rest of their studying years. This decision was after the credence from the Higher Education Ministry
