The University announces that it has started to receive the researches participating in Engineer Zuhair Hejjawi Award for Scientific Research 2014/2015 for the Palestinian Universities.
The scientific research council that is supervising the award asserted that: “The award this year will include five fields which are: Engineering, Information Technology, Environment, Water and Renewable Energy Sciences, basic sciences such as Physics, Chemistry and Applied Mathematics, the Medical and vital techniques and the agricultural Sciences.
Dr. Mohammad Awad, the Scientific Research Dean clarified that the award of Eng. Zuhair Hejjawi, the vice-president of the Board of Directors aims to encourage the students’ creative talents. This award also appreciates the outstanding works that goal to give solutions for scientific and technological problems and to enhance the competition between the Bachelor Degree Students at the Palestinian Universities.
He asserted that to continue the evaluation process in honesty and transparency, the scientific research council will hide the participants, the supervisors and the universities names while evaluating, until they announce the results. The council also decided to determine that Wednesday April 15, 2015 will be the final date for receiving the participating research summaries via email (zha
aaup.edu). Full researches must be submitted on Wednesday May 6th, 2015.
Dr. Awad said that the University will announce the results a few days before the annual ceremony, and the winners will be honoured during the ceremony. And the university will publish an annual electronic booklet to document the award.
