The Deanship of the Students Affair with cooperation with the Ministry of Culture organized a fair for the artist Sawsan Shhada under the name “Woman above Inferiority” as the paintings described the insistence of women on challenging the inferiority that the society sometimes reflect.
Dr. Maén Zakarneh, the Students’ Affairs Dean asserted on the importance of such activities to introduce students to the gifted and talented artists, and this comes as a support to the local community. He also indicated on the significant role of women who proved themselves on all different aspects..JPG)
Hamdallah Othmanm the director office manager of the Ministry of Culture in Nablus said: “Sawsan Shhada’s fair is a reflection that women are above the inferiority and those paintings are as a positive rebellion over this way of seeing women.”
Sawsan indicated that the Arab American University is the starting point for all other universities in the West Bank in order to publish this kind of painting to target the minds of the youth. It is good to mention that this fair holds 20 paintings for Miss Shhada with a title for each one.
