The Arab American University organizes training workshops to the Media and the Arabic Department students about how to manage debates. These workshops were organized by the Graduate Affairs department with cooperation with the German Institution Douche Felaih that aimed to train 50 students distributed on two training groups.
The workshop was opened by the head of the graduate affairs department Mr. Bilal Al-Ashqar who asserted on the importance of such workshops that will enhance the students’ experiences and preamble them to enter the labor market with great experience and distinguish skills. He hoped that this institution and all the other institutions will intensify their training programs as those programs are really important for students. Al-Ashqar asserted that the administration of the university will support the developing of this experience to their graduate students.
During the workshop, the representative of the German Institution “Tanya Sakzeozki” how to manage the debates, the art of discourse, the type of questions, the importance of adopting the teamwork techniques and how to present in front of audience.
The workshop coordinator Kholoud Abdallah also appreciated the hostage of this activity. She admired the students’ cultural level that showed their interest in developing themselves and grapping the best chances to enhance their possibilities. She hoped that such programs and projects will continue be organized on the future.
