The Arab American University arranged a workshop to its students under the name of “How to earn money while still studying”
The Vise president of the social affairs at the Arab American University organized a workshop under the name “How to earn money while studying” with cooperation with the institution of partners in sustainable development in Jenin, and 60 students from the Administrational and Financial Faculty attended this workshop.
The workshop was opened by the head of the graduate affairs department “Bilal Al-Ashqar” who asserted on the importance of this workshop and that this will benefit the students who want to provide some income for them and for their families while they are still studying. This will enhance their role on depending on themselves and managing their financial affairs.
The workshop that was presented by the head of the institution of partners in sustainable development “Waleed Kmail” described the available ways to gain money during studying years in possible and simple ways. The workshop also displayed the system of “Google AdSense” where students can use in order to see the advertisements and display it at a website or on youtube or a blog that the students can build.
Kmail also mentioned during the workshop the basics that students must have before they can start earning money, starting from designing the idea to developing it on the site and displaying it, then to register and to learn how to gain, then finally to take the money in their hands.
At the end of the workshop, students were allowed to discuss with the lecturer and they showed their interest in knowing such a thing especially during their study years and the years that follow their graduation. They appreciated the role that the university play to educate them in all aspects to improve the students’ life in and outside the university.
