Researcher Jawaher Salah, a student in the master’s program in emergency nursing, defended her thesis titled: “Perceptions of Nursing Students in Palestinian Universities of The Impact of Covid-19 Pandemic on their Practical Training.”
This study aims to evaluate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the practical training of nursing students in Palestinian universities from their point of view. The researcher relied on the descriptive approach by distributing questionnaires to a cross-sectional sample of 93 students.
The results of the study showed that Covid-19 had a negative impact on the students’ practical training. Students also expressed high confidence in using personal protection methods, in addition to a great use of coping strategies in light of the presence of high levels of stress during patient care.
The thesis was supervised by Dr. Abeer Hussein. The committee of examiners included: Dr. Imad Abukhader and Dr. Moataz Al-Draidi.
