In order to understand the judicial system in the Palestinian and the American courts

The Arab American University and Washington and Lee University have organized a pictorial court by acting a trial concerning the Palestinian and the American law.
Some students at the faculty of law at the Arab American University along with the faculty of law at Washington and Lee University have done a pictorial court by doing a trail for a legal case for 90 minutes.
This court was done with cooperation with the international legal institution at the West Bank at the pictorial court hall at the faculty of law Arab American University.
With the present of Dr. Hekmat Amarneh the lecturer at the law department at the Arab American University, Dr. Thomas Sbeedy Rays the lecturer at the Washington and Lee University, the coordinator at the international legal institution at the West Bank Dr. Ghodonfor Kamanji and the law students of both universities.
This pictorial court’s goal was to recognize the legal system at the Palestinian and American Courts, and to exchange experiences between both sides.

Four students have organized this and they were divided into two parts where the first part represents the public prosecution represented by Oudai Hamarsheh and Anwar Rabai’a doing the pleading. The other part represents the defence that was represented by Salma Al-Salveeti and Nour Frehat who did the defence pleading. The same was with the Washington and Lee University team.
Dr. Hekmat A’marneh, the lecturer at the law faculty at the university mentioned that doing this pictorial court has a great role in enriching students scientifically, either the participant students or the present students.
Also Dr. Thomas Sbeedy Rays expressed his happiness in being part in this pictorial court at the Arab American University. He also thanked the University administration for providing such a great chance.
Mr. Ghodonfor Kamanji, the coordinator of the international legal institution at the West Bank talked about the legal clinics and said that this project has started at the first semester of the academic year 2014/2015, as the university chooses four students at the faculty of law to imply this project at the institution’s office in Jenin under the supervision of some advocates. This project aims to make the legal culture general to all students and to minimize between the educational phase and the practical phase in the Palestinian courts.
