The Deanship of the Students’ Affairs at the University organized a fair for showing the paintings of the creative students under the name “One day we will be what we want to be”.
Dr. Maén Zakarneh, the Dean if the Student’s Affairs said that this fair was organized to display the talents of the students who are really creative in drawing and painting. The deanship opens the doors to creative students, embraces their talents and provides them with all the support they need to display their abilities. Dr. Zakarneh asserted on the importance of the extracurricular activities that helps in building the students’ personalities and integrating them with the local community..JPG)
He also said that the name of the fair “One day we will be what we want to be” is an implementation of what the Palestinians face in general, and that even though we are under occupation for more than 60 years now, we still love life and we will be creative in many aspects including Art
The fair displayed 66 art works that were drawn using pencils and water colors. The paintings included portraits of Palestinian leaders, artists’ personals and caricatures.
