A group from Al-Jadeda Secondary School visited the Arab American University through an educational field trip to make a scientific experience at the physics labs of the university. Teaching staff and 47 of the tenth grade students were among the group.
Dr. Atef Qasrawi- a faculty member at the physics department at the university indicated that this experiment will be part of the integrated education between universities and schools. He added that this experiment will enhance the university’s role in developing the local community. Dr. Qasrawi asserted on the importance of the educational field trip that the school did and assured that the university always seeks to educate the Palestinian students with modern scientific experiments to build a better generation.
Mr. Abdel Qader Jarrar- the school’s vice-principal appreciated the university’s hospitality and expressed his admiration of the scientific development that the university has reached.
Mr. Sufian Shahada- the physics teacher at the school explained the acceleration laws, the displacement and other physics laws to the students through using the tools of the physics lab at the university.
