The university organized a political symposium and a fair to celebrate the 13th Commemoration for the Battle of Jenin, where the fair contained lay-figures and photographs by Artists from Jenin who described the battle, the pain and the victory through their art works.
The fair contained 36 paintings and a photography corner that reflected live images from the heart of Jenin Camp during the battle. The pictures showed the fighters, the martyrs, the prisoners and the destroyed places that the battle caused..JPG)
A symposium was held after the opening of the fair, and Dr. AbuKarsh the Dean of the Faculty of the Administrative and Financial Sciences started by welcoming the presence. He mentioned the great national and social role of the university in combining the local community in all the national occasions.
During the symposium, a film for the Palestinian director Mohammad Al-Bakri called “Jenin Jenin” was displayed. This film showed what Jenin camp had faced during the battle that was on April 2002, and the destruction that the occupation left behind.
