The Arab American University received a delegation from the International Finance Corporation of the International Bank who visited the university to discuss means of cooperation in building services facilities for students and the local community.
The delegation consisted of Mr. Yousef Habash- the representative of the International Finance Unit, Ms. Rasmya Masoud- the investment specialist in Europe, Middle Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. The delegation was received by Professor Ali AbuZuhri- the University President and Dr. Nitham Thiab- the Assistant to the President for the Community Affairs.
Prof. AbuZuhri gave a detailed explanation about the mission, the vision and the goals of the university during the meeting. He expressed his hopes about building a joint collaboration with Europe Universities and other scientific research centers in the future.
The delegation praised the university and its ongoing quest to develop the modern sciences and research and to adopt the modern teaching styles that aims to develop the students’ abilities. They also asserted on their readiness in building affective collaborations with the university to implement development programs and services centers that will benefit the students and the local community.
