The Fiqih and Law Department at the Faculty of Law organized a religious symposium in the memory of the prophet’s birth. The symposium was about Prophet Mohammad’s manners and aimed to encourage students to follow his sunneh.
Dr. Khair Al-Deen Talib- the Head of the Fiqih and Law Department at the university indicated that the faculty always seeks to organize such workshops and symposiums to high the educational and the Shara’i level of knowledge for students. He asserted that we all need to remember the prophet everyday and to get to know his manners and behaviour.

The researcher Yousef Atatra – a student at the Applied Mathematics Masters discussed his thesis to get the Masters degree from the Arab American University.
At the end of the discussion, the Committee “Dr. Elias Dabet- the supervisor, Dr. Mohammad Manasra – the internal professor and Dr. Khalid Salah- the external Professor” decided to give Mr. Atatra the masters degree in Applied Mathematics.

 

The Deanship of the Students’ Affairs at the Arab American University organized a sports day at the university with the participation of some teams from Birzeit University. Many activities were organized, from futsal to basketball and volleyball, and students from both universities participated at the games.
Dr. Abdallah Walwel- the Dean of the Students’ Affairs honoured the winners with medals and certificates at the end of the sports day. He said that the university always welcomes such activities with different universities.

The Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the Arab American University hosted Fooz AbuHejla- the Business Guidance from the Middle East Foundation in order to discuss means of collaboration between the university and the foundation to give training courses to students to insert them in the business institutions in Tubas and Jenin.
