Mr. Raha Armamjo- the Turkish Cultural Attaché in Palestine and Dr. Abdulqadir Staih- the Head of the Turkish Cultural Center in Ramallah visited Arab American University to discuss cultural collaboration and some joint interest issues, and to enhance the collaboration relations between AAUP and other Turkish universities and scientific and research centers.
Dr. Moyad Abu Saa- the VP for Academic Affairs, Dr. Musdaq Barahmeh- the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Atef Qasrawi- the Physics Professor in AAUP and Dr. Fadi Jumaa- the Public Relations Manager were in their reception.
Dr. Dalal Iriqat- the VP for International Relation in Arab American University received H.E. Mr. Franklin Aquilina- the Ambassador of Malta Representative in Palestine who visited the university to see it and learn more about its academic programs.
Dr. Iriqat welcomed the guest and talked about the establishment of the university, its vision to upgrade the higher education level in Palestine and its mission to be a successful university as she mentioned some of the success stories that the university witnessed during the past 21 years. Dr. Iriqat also explained some of the distinguish programs of the university and how AAUP always seeks to provide the Palestinian market the new progeams that are contemporary in all aspects and fields.
Dr. Yousef Asfour- the Chairman of the Board of Directors welcomed Deputy Mr. Ayman Odeh- the Head of the Joint List and the former Deputy Mr. Jamal Zahalqa in his office in AAUP- Ramallah Campus, during a visit in which they discussed the issues of the Palestinian students inside the lands of 1948.
The Founding Chairman, Dr. Asfour welcomed his guests and emphasized on the importance of following up the status of students and support their needs. He also appreciated Deputy Ayman Odeh for always caring to follow up the issues of students with the university.
