Reception

During the meeting, both parties discussed the possibilities and capabilities of organizing a joint conference about International Humanitarian Law, and the idea of adding an International Humanitarian Law course for Law students in specific and the university students as well. Moreover, they agreed to sign MoU soon that should contain articles on starting joint programs between the university and the Red Crescent.

Dr. Yousef Asfour- the Chairman of the Board of Directors welcomed the guest and talked about Arab American University, its academic programs, its achievements and the future projects.

Sheikh Taher AbuSaleh, Sheikh Qassim Safadi, Sheikh Rafiq Ibrahim and Sheikh Dr. Wasif Khater were in the delegation, and in their reception were Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri – the University President, Dr. Mo’ayad Abu Saa’- the VP for Academic Affairs, Mr. Fathi Imour- the Public Relations Manager and Mr. Anan Deek- the Manager of AAUP Offices in the green-line area.
