Hassib Sabbagh IT Center of Excellence at the Arab American University, in cooperation with the British Otermans Institute, implemented a program for building personal and life skills using artificial intelligence techniques. This program targeted the University students and focused on refining life and personal skills through innovative learning methods, which gave it an exceptional and distinct character.
Engineer Mays Awad, Director General of the Hassib Sabbagh IT Center of Excellence, explained that the program aimed to provide the students of the Arab American University with twenty-first century skills, with a prominent focus on investing in artificial intelligence techniques to improve the quality of education by providing innovative digital interactive sessions and realistic practical tests, including direct assessment for achievement and progress of the trainee students as well as following up on them.
Dr. Awad pointed out that the program, which profited more than 100 male and female students, included many training exercises, including goal setting and motivation, effective communication, leadership and personal development, problem-solving skills, critical thinking as well as other exercises.
It is worth noting that the Ottermans Institute is an international organization based in London, and its main mission is to develop innovative curricula and artificial intelligence technology in education. The institute was founded by a specialized team of experts in the fields of education and technology and strives to improve the level of education and provide innovative and effective learning experiences at global level.
It is noteworthy that the Institute expressed its great appreciation for the Arab American University and its education as it mentioned this on its official webpage and in British newspapers, where the news indicated that the Arab American University is the first Palestinian university that uses all modern and advanced technologies in teaching its students.
