Prof. Sa’d Shalbi – the Sports Economics Professor in Mansoura University and the Adviser for President of Jeddah University and Al Ahli Club for Marketing, was part of this online seminar and talked about the basics of marketing and investment in the Arab World especially for the Palestinian case that he considered as a model for success due to the high use of technology in Palestine especially by the youth. Study results showed that 88% of the sample (85% in the West Bank and 92% in Gaza) thinks that currently there is no available effective treatment for COVID-19, and 41% of the sample thinks that the warm weather will stop the spread of the disease. Whereas 89% of the sample (92% females and 86% males) thought that this disease is now under control.

About the confidence of people that Palestine can and will win the battle against COVID-19, the study showed that 93% (91% in the WB and 96% in Gaza) trust that Palestine will win.

Dr. Bashar Daraghmeh- the Dean of Student Affairs congratulated both students for winning and expressed how proud he is of the Arab American University students who always seek winning in local and international competitions. Dr. Sistrunk plays an important role in the overall mission of City of Hope as a leading NIH-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
