Hult Prize 2020 Orientation Day at AAUP

Haseeb Al Sabbagh IT Center for Excellence and HULT Prize team in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering and IT at the University organized the first orientation meeting about HULT Prize competition. The team talked about their experience of participating in the international competition, which was held in Paris and London in April and September of this year, in which 120 participants were selected from among a quarter - million students around the world.

The team gave a presentation about the competition for the year 2020 and the registration process. The winner will receive a prize of one million dollars.

HULT Prize is the world's largest student entrepreneurship competition that aims to establish profit companies to face one of the societal challenges and to engage students in creating positive change. In more than 200 universities participate in this competition and is held in more than150 countries.

Data Science Initiative on the Palestine level, is considered to be part of many related projects that will be performed in Palestine.

In this celebration we highlight the role of the Data Science Initiative, including all of its projects, in helping to improve the status of Palestine by using the information revolution and big data to overcome challenges and achieve sustainable social development to serve public good.
