The researcher addressed the relationship between corporate governance and governance standards with profit management. Several variables were examined including; the company's CEO, number of members of the board of directors, quality of audit, concentration of ownership, and the board of directors independence.

In her thesis, she pointed to who much banks apply social responsibility, its relation to profitability and planning mechanisms. Stressing the importance of the positive relationship between the social responsibility and the working banks’ profitability with their commitment to imply it.

The researcher Mohammed Soboh Musa Abu-Shamsieh, a student in the strategic planning and fundraising program, defended his thesis entitled “Determinants Of The Profits Distribution Policy In Public Shareholding Companies, A Case Study from the Palestine Exchange”.

The thesis aimed to identify the most important influencing factors on the profits distributing policy to non-financial companies in the Palestine Exchange and distributing profits to benefit from achieving further growth in the Palestinian market.
