The university organized a political symposium and a fair to celebrate the 13^th Commemoration for the Battle of Jenin, where the fair contained lay-figures and photographs by Artists from Jenin who described the battle, the pain and the victory through their art works.
The fair contained 36 paintings and a photography corner that reflected live images from the heart of Jenin Camp during the battle. The pictures showed the fighters, the martyrs, the prisoners and the destroyed places that the battle caused.

The Fiqh and Law Department at the Faculty of Law of the Arab American University organized an honoring ceremony for 70 students _including school students_ who participated at the contest of memorizing the Holy Qurán.
Dr.Nitham Thiab, the vice-president for the Community Affairs started the ceremony by saying that education is not only the subject and the courses required from the faculty, but also it extends outside the wall of the university. He praised the Fiqh and Law Department that finds unique specialties and manages to combine them with other different specialties.

The Arab American University organized a workshop between the Nursing Department at Faculty of the Allied Medical Sciences and the Nursing trainers at the Palestinian Hospitals.
 
The workshop goals to introduce the trainers to the modern educational strategies that the university follows, in addition to the laboratory and educational equipment that exist at the nursing section and that enable students to graduate with high efficiency and good experience.

The University revived the Annual Palestinian Environment Day that comes at the 5^th of March by planting tens of Carob, Pine, Almond and Olive trees at the campus. This activity was in collaboration with the Environmental Education Centre / the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Lands.
