The workshop focused on the challenges that the students and graduates of the Faculty of IT in the applications of the contemporary technology field especially the ones related to the Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, the Data Sciences and the Blockchain. The workshop also focused on promoting students’ capabilities to enable them to realize the challenges that the companies face in building these technology applications, and to introduce them on how to develop their skills to be updated regarding the work opportunities inside and outside of Palestine in this field.

In his reception was Prof. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri- the University President, his Vice President, his Assistants, Some of the Deans of the Faculties and members of the Academic and Administrative Staff as they received him and his accompanied delegation from the Ministry, some of the General Directors, Heads of Units and Consultants.

Prof. Abu Mwais praised the development that AAUP has reached from the academic programs to the infrastructure, and praised its excellence in scientific research. He wished to the university and to all higher education organizations more development.

The open day started by a speech of Prof. Mohammad Asia- the VP for Medical Schools Affairs as he welcomed students and talked about the plans to develop the speech, language and hearing disorders Department as the pan is to develop the labs and equip them with the best devices and technology of international specifications to achieve the goal of the department through the theoretical and practical education.

The universities agreed to organize this first Languages conference in Al Istiqlal University during November- 2022 with the participation of all the West Bank Universities physically, and the universities of Gaza through the Video Conference.

The participated universities recommended putting some focus on the role of professors and teachers, the educational environment, enhancing the role of IT- specialist people to help in the researches and e-lectures and the impact of changing the modern communication means on education and language.
